How to install the app on your phone?

IPhone:

  • Ensure you have a Wi-Fi connection or a 3-4 G provider reception
  • On your phone enter “App Store”
  • Search for either p. i. g. or pulppartners; the app with the logo will appear.
  • Click on cloud; you will be asked for your apple ID
  • Once installed click open
  • Accept terms of use
  • If you use your personal email make sure to mention in the text of the mail your company name for registration purposes; click send.
  • Within 24 hrs you will receive by email your activated username and password.
  • Insert username and password into the PIG© app front page and validate!
  • Enjoy the app!

Android Phones:

  • Ensure you have a Wi-Fi connection or a 3-4 G provider reception
  • On your phone enter “Play Store”
  • Search for pulppartners; the app with the logo will appear.
  • Click on it and install
  • Once installed click open
  • Accept terms of use
  • If you use your personal email make sure to mention in the text of the mail your company name for registration purposes; click send.
  • Within 24 hrs you will receive by email your activated username and password.
  • Insert username and password into the PIG© app front page and validate!

Blackberry phones:

How do I get news “pushed “ to my phone front page?

IPhone:

  • On your phone look for icon settings and click
  • Look for notification control icon and click
  • Scroll down till you reach PIG app. and click
  • Set your preferred alert, preferred is banner and no sound.

Trouble shooting:

  • You cannot install or open the app:
    • The app has been developed to work on all Apple and Android phones and tablets. We are NOT live on windows phones and other platforms.
    • Follow procedure to install the app as per
    • Ensure you have received a user ID and a Password or ask for one directly on your app.
    • Enter provided User ID and Password. Capital letter sensitive!

  • It takes a long time to open the app and access the news:
    • Verify you have a good Internet connection > 3G or Wi-Fi
    • Verify you do not have too many apps open in the background
    • If the problem persist turn off the app and re-enter ID and password
    • If the problem persists close your phone and open it again
    • If the problem persists dis-install the app and install again same ID and password.

  • Your ID and password have stopped granting you to the App:
    • Verify you are still entering the valid ID and password. If unsure ask us again for your ID and password.
    • If you have uploaded the app to a different phone or tablet than your initial phone /tablet we will need to reset your ID and password. Just ask for it.
    • If you have been notified that your free trial period has expired PIG © will unsubscribe you to the app. In order to access the app you will need to subscribe to it.
    • If none of this resolve your access problem let us know and we will reset your ID and password.

  • You want to get news pushed to your phone as they arrive or do not want it:
    • When you upload the app for the first time you should be asked if you want the news to be “pushed “ to you phone.
    • Otherwise you need to access your settings and go to notification center for iPhones and look for the PIG © app, enter and decide how you want news to be pushed to you. For Android phones go to settings, apps choose PIG © and click or not on “show notifications”

  • The news or the data are not up to date on your phone:
    • Normally news and data are updated automatically as they arrive. However, if this is not the case you need to refresh the news and data by:
    • On iPhone: sliding upward on the news page or the Index page to get data refreshed.
    • On Android phone: the updates are automatic.

  • You get the PIG alert but cannot open the app ?
    • You cannot open the app because you have not entered properly either your user ID or your password.
    • The user id refers to your email you indicated when you registered with PIG the first time.
    • The password was also given to you then.
    • If you do not recall your password ask in the front page of the PIG app for a new password that will be emailed to you.
    • Once into the app you can also change your password.
